Super Summer Sports Program
We offer a small group atmosphere that encourages fun, fitness and friendships while instilling self - control, discipline and respect. From 4 years old, our Summer program offers every Friday a SUPER FIELD TRIP!!! Trips include ice-skating, MOSI, pool, bowling, movies, Lowry Park zoo, cooking workshop, computer seminar, roller-skating, community pool and water park. In addition to these outings, we will also be making daily trips to the park and/or library, in house movies and games. The fun doesn’t stop there….the campers can also look forward to a talent contest, dance off and making a movie! The children will be instructed in the art of Shotokan karate including learning self-defense, stranger threat techniques and how to avoid lures that are essential for children to know, from Sensei Ernest Fuentes, who’s been working on this topic for over 5 years in connection with the Tampa Police Department.

There is no catch!!! The cost for camp is $85.00 per week per child, which includes 2 snacks per day (morning and afternoon) as well as transportation to daily activities. Every Friday we go to different exciting places, which cost is apart, and usually is no more than $15 per kid.

- The difference between our summer camp and other summer camps is that we offer outcomes that are more than just a safe and fun experience. What we offer will be noticed as your child is:
· Developing Personal Discipline
· Experiencing Higher Self-Esteem
· Learning to Set and Achieve Goals
· Discovering New Confidence
· Practicing Stranger Awareness Drills
· Earning Better Grades
· Making Lots of New Friends
· Having Tons of Fun!!
· Not to mention Self Defense! - Due to Sensei Ernesto's experiences and studies, all of our programs are unique, based on scientific research and method. That is why our curriculum is always imitated by other "karate" or "Martial Arts Academies" but they are never the same....! (Even our slogans...)
The staff at Keiko Shin Karate has more than 50 years combined experience working with children, with experience ranging from family law, child psychology, teaching, and special needs education. Also all of our counselors have been fingerprinted by Pasco and Hillsborough Counties.

Nature Encounter
It's our custom to be crystal clear with all of our parents and customers. That has been our characterstic and that is why our business has been growing every year. It's fair for you as a potential family member...
"Anyone who enters our dojo as a guest, leaves as a friend..."
This is our Summer Camp policy:
When you pay for a specific week of camp; you are “locked in” for that week of camp, we cannot change the week for a different week as we have kids that we are turning away when the weeks are full; there are NO REFUNDS on payments for any reason.
Please arrive at the dojo no later than 10:00 am everyday as we leave each day to go on field trips to the park, library, movies, etc. If you are not here by the time we leave, you can meet us at the destination.
The dismissal time for the Summer Camp is 6:00 pm, although we understand traffic, accidents, heavy rain, unexpected events can occur. Aside from those reasons, please be sure to be at the dojo on time in order to facilitate the karate classes. Please, if you know that you are going to be late (after 6:00pm) call us and we can make the necessary arrangements. Remember we are a family...!
Finally, we are going to be outside a lot this summer, playing and learning different sports (according to our schedule); and we have a lot of Florida sunshine!!! Therefore, for the benefit of your kid(s), it’s mandatory for all our families to bring every day:
